Terms and Conditions

DEPOSIT:  We take a 25% non-returnable deposit with the booking, and the balance is payable 6 weeks prior to the date of arrival. Full payment to be made if booking within 6 weeks.

 

PAYMENT:  may be made by BACS or cheque.

 

CONFIRMATION of the booking  will be made when the deposit is received.

Access codes and full directions will be sent out once the balance payment is received.

Arrival time is from 4pm and departure by 10am please.

 

LINEN and TOWELS: are provided with limited toiletries. Please bring your own beach towels.

 

DOG OWNERS:  We welcome small to medium sized dogs. The cottage is not suitable for large dogs. Please be advised that your pet is not allowed on the sofas or upstairs at all.

 

NO SMOKING IS PERMITTED INSIDE THE  COTTAGE

 

CANCELLATIONS : In the event of cancellation the following charges will normally apply:

                                   6-8 weeks prior to arrival date - 50% of total rental charge

                                   4-6 weeks prior to arrival date - 80% of total rental charge

                                   Less than 4 weeks prior to arrival date - 100% of total rental charge

 

                                   All cancellations must be made in writing (email is fine)

 

(In the unlikely event that circumstances beyond the Owner's control results in the cancellation of the booking, the owner, or their Agent, reserves the right to cancel the booking and refund any monies already paid by the Client)

 

 

LIABILITY: You are advised that you are staying in a PRIVATE cottage and therefore are responsible for your own safety and in respect of any loss, personal accidents or damages sustained by you or any member of your party during your stay. It is your responsibility to ensure you have adequate holiday insurance to cover personal injury/accident/loss/ damage etc.

We operate an honesty system with regard to breakages - please either replace like for like, or provide funds for the replacement item.

 

PLEASE NOTE: This is an old cottage with stairs which may be steeper than in a modern house. Therefore it may not be suitable for those with mobility issues. Please also read the Fire Risk Assessment.
